Justice For Obolo: Finally Obolo Has Been Released From Prison

Ghanaian TikTok personality GH Kobby, born Hayford Boateng, remains in police custody following his arrest in connection with the tragic death of his girlfriend, Philippa Frimpong, also known as Yaa Baby. The incident, which occurred on June 10, 2025, at Seker near Yeji, has sparked national attention and debate, especially among the youth and social media community. 

 According to official police reports, the victim sustained a gunshot wound to her left arm and was immediately rushed to St. Mathias Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. 

GH Kobby, along with two of his friends identified as Obolo and another unnamed individual, were arrested shortly after the incident. Court Proceedings After a preliminary court hearing held this week, the judge ruled that GH Kobby should remain in custody to assist with ongoing investigations, while Obolo and the third suspect were discharged due to lack of direct evidence linking them to the firearm discharge. The Shooting: Accident or Intentional? 

GH Kobby has claimed the shooting was accidental, explaining that the gun involved was legally registered. However, the police are treating the case with caution as investigations continue to determine whether the act was negligent, reckless, or intentional.
