In a significant display of unity, all 44 Assembly Members of the Kwabre East Municipality unanimously confirmed Hon. Joseph Amankwah as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE). The confirmation took place last Friday at the Assembly Hall of Our Lady of Grace Senior High School in Mamponteng, where every member present cast their vote in his favor, resulting in a unanimous 100% endorsement.
The event was graced by prominent figures from the local community, including Barambah Saale Ayeboafo II, Chief of Mamponteng, who commended the result as unprecedented in the history of the Assembly. He emphasized that the overwhelming support was a powerful symbol of unity among the political factions, all coming together in pursuit of Kwabre East’s development.
Also in attendance was Hon. Emmanuel Reagan Fynn, the newly appointed Ashanti Regional Director of the National Service Scheme. In his remarks, he encouraged the MCE, Assembly Members, and presiding members
to work collaboratively towards the continued prosperity and welfare of Kwabre East.
